Daniela Reyes lit up social media this Tuesday with a new Instagram post that reaffirms her status as a frontrunner in Miss Universe Cuba 2026, unleashing a deluge of praise from her followers who proclaim her a "queen" and "goddess" at every step of her journey.
In the post shared on her official account, the Cuban model and influencer based in Miami wrote: “More alive than ever for having the opportunity to represent you. Every day building with discipline and determination, the woman who can do it in the best way because giving you reasons to feel proud will always be my greatest reward.”
The public's response was immediate and overwhelming: the post garnered thousands of likes and hundreds of comments within a few hours, with messages describing it as "GODDESS," "a Greek goddess," and "White Queen."
Among the most notable comments, one encapsulates the general sentiment: "I say it again and again, and this is not just my drumbeat: she is a true goddess. Period."
Other followers were equally expressive: "Daniiiiii, you're already wearing that crown," "You have the poise and aura of a Queen that few possess, great job," and "You've just begun, the ending is yours. We love you, my beautiful Dani."
Daniela Reyes competes as candidate number 20 for Miss Universe Cuba 2026, a competition that brings together 22 finalists chosen from over 100 participants during in-person auditions held in Miami.
Her leadership in the competition goes beyond popular enthusiasm: according to the Missosology Cuba ranking, Daniela tops the list of favorites for Miss Universe Cuba 2026 with 16,600 interactions, well ahead of the second candidate, Mia Dio, with 6,500.
Daniela's journey to this candidacy was long and gradual. In July 2025, she stole the show at the Miss Universe Cuba gala as a simple guest, without competing, which raised public expectations.
In November 2025, she broke the silence about her possible participation, admitting that the idea filled her with "excitement and fear," but it wasn't until May 29 that Daniela Reyes confirmed her candidacy with a straightforward statement: "I want to represent Cuba."
The influencer, who has over a million followers on Instagram, also drew attention during the process for her command of English, a language she learned on her own in Cuba by watching videos and practicing, without formal classes.
The Miss Universe Cuba 2026 final is scheduled for August 12 in Miami, and the winner will represent Cuba at Miss Universe 2026, which is set to take place in Puerto Rico in November.
