The paparazzi caught Shakira in a very intimate evening with Mexican actor Manuel García-Rulfo at the exclusive Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, fueling rumors of a possible romance between the two.
The images, shared by several entertainment accounts, show the Colombian singer and the star of El abogado del Lincoln leaving the establishment together, smiling and in coordinated outfits: jeans and black t-shirts, with lace on the sides of her pants.
To top off the scene, both left in an audio led by García-Rulfo himself, a detail that did not go unnoticed by anyone.
It is the first time that the performer of "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" and the actor have been photographed together alone, and neither she, nor he, nor their representatives have confirmed or denied that there is anything more than friendship.
The meeting took place during a break in the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, just after Shakira held two concerts at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on June 14 and 15, and after she starred in the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Cup at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11.
What makes the situation even more interesting is that just days earlier, in an interview with People magazine, the Barranquilla native had made it very clear that love was not on her agenda: "Right now, I'm only thinking about raising my children. I don't see it for now. Maybe when they're older."
Well, it seems that plans can change.
García-Rulfo (Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1981) comes to this moment with a free heart, having recently ended his last known relationship with Audrey McGraw, daughter of artists Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, with whom he was seen several times during 2024.
The actor, great-nephew of the renowned Mexican writer Juan Rulfo, has built a strong international career: from The Magnificent Seven alongside Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt, to Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, and finally establishing himself as lawyer Mickey Haller in the Netflix series that propelled him to global fame.
Since her separation from Gerard Piqué in June 2022, after twelve years of relationship and two children together, Milan and Sasha, Shakira's love life has been a recurring topic in the media.
In 2023, she was linked to the driver Lewis Hamilton, although that was never confirmed and each went their separate ways.
For now, dinner at one of the most exclusive hotels in Hollywood and a shared car are all that's on the table, but in the entertainment world, sometimes that's enough to let the imagination take flight.
Shakira's tour continues through various cities in the United States until July 25, and in September and October, the artist has eleven concerts scheduled in Madrid.
