A video by the Cuban creator Diosny el santo oficial on how to choose a partner became one of the most discussed pieces of content within the Cuban community on TikTok last week, accumulating over 210,500 views in just a few days.

In the 37-second clip posted on TikTok, Diosny sends a direct message to men: do not seek a partner for physical appearance or looks, because those attributes are temporary.

"When you want to have a real woman, don't look for her based on physical appearance or looks because that fades with time; it's temporary," states the creator at the beginning of the video.

For him, the woman worth pursuing is the one who chooses to stay by a man's side even when he has nothing material to offer her. "Seek her out because she decides to be with you even knowing that you have nothing to give her, that the only thing you can offer is a mind full of dreams and goals," he points out.

The creator describes that ideal woman as one who stays by your side in any circumstance: "she decides to stick around and move forward with you, through the ups and downs, the good times, the bad times, and the worst of times—that’s the one you should hold onto."

And she adds that this colleague is also the one who deserves the fruits of shared effort: "the one who should enjoy the success when it arrives."

The video concludes with the colloquial and direct tone that defines the creator, warning that anyone who doesn't follow this advice will continue to pursue women who are not right for them, in a phrase that blends humor and critique with popular Cuban language.

The content also recorded 12,700 likes, 1,007 comments, and 2,125 shares, figures that reflect the high level of identification it sparked among the audience.

This type of reflection on romantic relationships is a well-established genre among Cuban creators on social media. Short videos offering advice on love, loyalty, and everyday life—blending a direct tone with street humor—often resonate with broad audiences both on and off the island, frequently sparking debate in the comments.

The message of Diosny appeals to an ideal rooted in Cuban popular culture: that of the man who "rises from the bottom" alongside a woman who believed in him from the very beginning, before success arrived, and therefore deserves to share in it when it is finally achieved.

The video also circulated on Facebook, where the creator maintains an active presence under the same name, further extending his reach within the Cuban community across different platforms.
