Switzerland secured its position as the undisputed leader of the this Wednesday, after defeating Canada 2-1 at BC Place in Vancouver. Meanwhile, Bosnia and Herzegovina triumphed over Qatar with a score of 3-1 at Lumen Field in Seattle, a result that determined the final ranking of the group.
The Swiss finished first with 7 points (two victories and one draw), seven goals scored and three conceded. Rubรฉn Vargas and Johan Manzambi scored for Switzerland in the match against Canada; Promise David netted a goal for the North Americans in injury time, but it was not enough.
