Michael-Anthony Leones Espino, known in the entertainment world as Mykee or Mykee Moves, was found deceased this Tuesday in Miami-Dade, as confirmed by the county's Sheriff's Office to Telemundo 51.

The 28-year-old dancer of Filipino descent, who had worked with renowned artists such as Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía, had been reported missing on Sunday, and his case kept thousands of fans of the artists he collaborated with on edge.

What is known about his disappearance

Mykee was last seen on Sunday, July 12, around 12:30 p.m., leaving block 14200 of Southwest 161st Court in southwest Miami.

Authorities classified him as a "vulnerable adult" and, in the search report, noted that "the missing adult may require care services," although they did not provide details about the circumstances of his disappearance.

The Sheriff's Office urged the community to "exercise extreme caution when making contact" with him, a warning that heightened concerns among those who knew him.

How was it found?

In recent hours, authorities responded to a report of a death in the area of 162nd Avenue and 138th Street in southwest Miami-Dade, in the area known as West End.

The body of a man was found near the train tracks in that area.

This Tuesday, the Sheriff's Office confirmed that it was Leones Espino and that the young man “died from an apparent suicide.”

The investigation remains open, although the initial indications point in that direction.

Who was Mykee Moves?

Mykee was a recognized figure in the Latin urban dance scene, with a career that led him to share the stage with some of the most important artists in the genre.

She was part of the dance troupe for the Motomami World Tour of Rosalía in 2022, a tour of 46 concerts that traveled through Europe and America from July to December of that year, and where the dancers were affectionately nicknamed "Motopapis" by the fans.

With Rauw Alejandro, he maintained a professional relationship for approximately eight years, participating in the tours Vice Versa, Saturno, and Cosa Nuestra - the latter concluding in November 2025 - in addition to appearing in the music video for the song "Touching The Sky."

After the confirmation of the passing, the Puerto Rican singer was the first to publicly bid farewell to his dancer with an emotional message on social media.

"There are so many things left to say, so many unfinished thoughts... 8 years sharing stages by your side. It has been a privilege, a blessing, and an honor to have known you in this life. Your smile and your light will always be in my heart. We will continue dancing, laughing, and singing in the next one. Rest in peace, my brother. We love you," Rauw wrote in his Instagram stories.

On social media, where he used the name @mykeemooves on TikTok and Instagram, Mykee amassed nearly 80,000 followers across both platforms, sharing his dance routines and behind-the-scenes moments from tours.

He/She had also worked in Rihanna's Savage x Fenty show.

When news of their disappearance broke, the community of followers of Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro immediately mobilized on social media to share their photo and seek public assistance.

The official fan club account of Rosalía in Spain, @rosaliavtspain, posted an urgent call: "This is the kind of news we would never want to share, but today we need your help. Mykee, one of the motopapis, has gone missing and the authorities are asking for assistance in finding him."

Rauw Alejandro himself shared on his Instagram stories the flyer of a missing person during the search hours.

The fan account @rosaliavtspain captured the community's sentiment with a commemorative image: "Today we say goodbye with sadness, but also with gratitude for the time shared. Rest in peace, Mikee."
