Imaray Ulloa surprised her millions of followers with a video posted on her Instagram account where, alongside Fabián Fontaine, she announced the end of their romantic relationship after approximately five years together.
The Cuban influencer was direct from the very first second of the reel: "Well, Fabián and I are going to share some news, because I think you deserve it. Our relationship has ended a little while ago, not too long, but I believe it's time to inform you and prevent you from being surprised later by news you might hear as time goes on."
What stood out the most was the tone of the announcement: no dramas, no hints, no reproaches.
Imaray explained that the decision was entirely amicable: "We had a beautiful relationship. Over time, things change a bit, and we are ending things on good terms. It's not that there has been any kind of problem or anything; it’s just that since things are no longer the same as they were at the beginning, we decided to reshape our lives in a different way, respecting each other's paths."
Fabián also spoke up and made it clear that the affection between them remains unchanged: "I will continue to support her in everything I can, and she will support me as well."
"We ended a relationship, but we didn't end our ties, our friendship and our affection, our mutual respect," she added.
In the caption of the reel, Imaray completed the message with equally serene words: "Sometimes paths change, and that's okay. We hold on to the good memories and sincerely wish both of us all the best in this new chapter. We ask for understanding and respect, as there are decisions that come from love, even when they mean following different paths."
The post quickly set the networks ablaze: it accumulated over 123,000 likes and nearly 8,000 comments in just a few hours, with messages of support from fans throughout the Cuban community in exile.
Imaray and Fabián began their relationship at the end of 2021, shortly after the influencer ended her seven-year relationship with the comedian Yubrán Luna.
The couple was one of the most followed in the Cuban entertainment scene in Miami: they shared trips, celebrations, and even attended Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2025 together.
In September 2025, Imaray had publicly spoken about her relationship with Fabián, stating that she fully trusts him, which makes the news of their breakup a surprise to many.
Imaray, with over 5 million followers on Instagram alone, made it clear that she preferred to share the news herself before it came through other channels: "It's news that may be tough, but it's the reality and I just want you to support us in this new stage of life that we are going to have together and apart."
