Rihanna starred in one of the most emotional moments of her Caribbean August by taking her three children to the street where she grew up in Barbados and sharing the images with the world. The artist posted a series of photos and a video on Instagram alongside RZA (four years old), Riot (three), and little Rocki Irish (ten months) posing on the plaque commemorating Rihanna Drive, the road named after her in the suburbs of Bridgetown.

The street, formerly known as Westbury New Road, was officially renamed on November 30, 2017 — Barbados Independence Day — during a ceremony attended by the singer herself. The house where she grew up, known as "Sonia Ville," is now a tourist and cultural site on the Caribbean island.

"One minute I feel like that girl from Westbury... and the next I'm bringing my own children back to 'Rihanna Drive,'" the artist wrote in the caption. "How surreal life is! And Glory will ALWAYS and FOREVER belong to the Almighty Creator!"

This is one of the first times Rihanna shares public images of her three children together, as she and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, deliberately keep their children's lives away from the public eye.

In the photos, the 38-year-old singer is wearing an asymmetrical black dress with a thigh-high slit, red lips, dark sunglasses, and sandals, while holding baby Rocki, who is dressed in red with matching bows. Riot, true to her favorite character, appears in a Spider-Man t-shirt and red sneakers, while RZA poses in a blue and white striped shirt and denim shorts.

The photoshoot on Rihanna Drive is the sentimental highlight of a very family-oriented August for the artist. At the beginning of the month, she and Rocky celebrated Riot's third birthday with a Spider-Man themed party on the island, complete with red and blue balloons and spiderweb decorations. Days later, Rihanna participated in Grand Kadooment Day —the grand finale of the Crop Over Festival, the most important cultural celebration in Barbados— wearing a stunning custom carnival outfit by designer Lauren Austin, adorned with giant feathers in pink, purple, and turquoise.

The daring dance of Rihanna alongside Rocky during the Crop Over festivities has also gone viral in recent days, making this August one of the most active months for the artist on social media.

A$AP Rocky, for his part, spoke openly about raising his children on the podcast The Jason Lee Show, recorded earlier this month. "It's our mothers and our nannies, there's a lot of help. I'd be lying if I said we don't have help. We have a lot of help. And you need it," admitted the 37-year-old rapper.
