Tini Stoessel put an end to months of wedding rumors with a nearly eight-minute vlog posted on Instagram: the Argentine singer confirmed that she will marry the footballer Rodrigo de Paul, midfielder for Inter Miami, and she did it her way, ring in hand and suitcase ready for Paris for the first fitting of her wedding dress.
"And one day that dream I had dreamed so many times began to come true with the love of my life," she wrote in the video description, directly mentioning De Paul. The post immediately lit up social media.
In the video, recorded before boarding the plane, Tini appears radiant yet equally nervous. "I'm getting married... Well, loves. First fitting for my dress. Oh, I'm super excited. Plus, I want to tell you all about my wedding concept, what it means to me, what that day is going to represent. And nothing, I’m very excited, very happy. I’m going to show you absolutely everything," says the artist on her way to the French capital, accompanied by her friend Carito and her little dog Fifi.
The destination was the Parisian atelier of the Belgian-French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin, chosen to create the dress of her dreams. Tini confessed that she anticipated a peaceful visit to browse fabrics and clarify ideas: "I thought I was just going to try on fabrics." The surprise was immense when she discovered that the corset and other pieces were already made and ready to be fitted. However, she refused to reveal the complete design, keeping the most closely guarded secret of every bride.
When leaving the studio, the singer called her fiancé to share her experience. That video call is one of the most endearing moments of the vlog: Tini, still brimming with excitement, tells him that the process is much further along than she had imagined, though she takes great care not to reveal anything about the design.
De Paul did not take long to respond publicly. In the comments of the post, he left a statement that went viral instantly: “Because building together is the most beautiful way to love. I dream of that day every day of my life. Thank you for making me so happy.” Additionally, he shared the video in his Instagram stories.
The story of Tini and "Rodri" is one of the most followed in the Latin world. They met in late 2021 through social media and confirmed their relationship in April 2022 during a getaway to Ibiza. One of their most iconic moments came during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when she traveled to support him and celebrated Argentina's title alongside him. In August 2023, they announced their amicable separation — "We shared very lovely moments," they said at the time — but in early 2025, they rekindled their relationship, this time with more discretion. In 2026, Tini publicly supported the footballer once again during Argentina's journey in the World Cup.
De Paul, world champion with Argentina in Qatar 2022, currently plays for Inter Miami CF, where he has been teammates with Lionel Messi since July 2025.
