Rachel Arderi, the Cuban influencer based in Miami, shared an emotional message in her Instagram stories on the occasion of her eldest son's first day of school, Yan Carlos, who is starting second grade.

The pictures show the boy posing in front of a striking neon green sports car, dressed in a plaid flannel shirt.

Along with the images, Rachel wrote a message filled with nostalgia and maternal love: "The love of all my lives, my big boy, my first great love, the one who gave me the title of being a mom, my little treasure, you are growing up too fast, but I am happy and proud of the wonderful and noble boy you are. I adore you, my king."

In another story, taken from inside a car with white sunglasses, the influencer delved into her feelings: "I don't know if it's just me, but I'm still getting used to this. A few days ago, I was breastfeeding you in the little house in Río Verde, remember? And just yesterday, I was watching you take a shower by yourself, how you already told me you didn't want any more milk from a bottle but from a cup... Omg, how can the years pass by so, so quickly?"

Rachel also recalled the moment she saw her son for the first time: “I was just 15 years old and you were so tiny in my arms, not even knowing how to hold you.” Yan Carlos will turn eight years old in September, and his mother did not hide the mix of pride and melancholy she feels as she watches him grow.

The story that accompanied the photo of the boy captured the sentiment of the day: "There's a very big and very beautiful boy from mom, who is starting his 2nd grade today."

Rachel arrived in Miami with Yan Carlos in May 2024, leaving Cuba behind. Since then, the family has built a new life in the city: the couple launched their first home in Miami in March 2026, and in September 2024 their youngest daughter Mía was born, the daughter of Rachel and Oniel Bebeshito.

Yan Carlos, who has his own Instagram account under the name @yancarlitosarderi, has become a regular figure in his mother’s posts. In October 2025, the boy experienced one of his most special moments when he met Lionel Messi at Chase Stadium in Miami.

Rachel Arderi, who has nearly a million followers on Instagram, is in a relationship with the Cuban singer Oniel Bebeshito, one of the leading figures of the Cuban entertainment scene abroad and recognized by Billboard in 2025 as one of the rising Latin artists.

"Sister, you and you are my reason for being and living," Rachel wrote at the end of her message, dedicating the moment to both Yan Carlos and his daughter Mía.
