The dollar and the euro begin this Thursday with new increases in the , while the MLC (Freely Convertible Currency) is trending down.
At 10:00 a.m., local Cuban time, the U.S. dollar is quoted at 670 Cuban pesos (CUP), two pesos more than the previous day, when it was at 668 CUP.
In just one week, the dollar has gained seven pesos, rising from the 663 CUP recorded seven days ago. Over the past 30 days, it has fluctuated between a minimum of 663 CUP and a maximum of 674 CUP.
The euro also rises by two pesos, reaching 760 CUP, compared to the 758 CUP from the previous session.
Exchange Rate Evolution
The European currency has risen by 10 pesos in a week, as it was exchanging at 750 CUP seven days ago. It currently maintains a difference of 90 pesos against the dollar.
On its part, the MLC is around 458 CUP. This figure represents a decrease of 13 pesos compared to the 471 CUP from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Cuba for Segment III remains at 636 CUP per dollar and 741 CUP per euro, still below the rates of the informal market.
Thirty days ago, the official dollar was at 601 CUP and the euro at 684 CUP. Since then, they have risen to the current rates of 636 and 741 CUP, respectively.
