Two tickets sold at Publix supermarkets in Florida became the big winners of the Friday night drawings, accumulating a total of $993,220 in prizes, according to El Nuevo Herald.
The Tampa ticket: $875,000 with Triple Play Jackpot
The top prize of the day went to a Quick Pick ticket from the game Jackpot Triple Play purchased at the Publix located at 2724 Hillsboro Ave., Tampa.
The numbers 2, 8, 19, 21, 23, and 46 matched exactly with those of the drawing, awarding the lucky buyer a prize of $875,000.
Jackpot Triple Play is an exclusive game from the Florida Lottery in which the player selects six numbers from one to 46 or allows the terminal to generate them automatically using the Quick Pick option, which was precisely the choice made in this case.
The grand prize of this game starts at $500,000 and can reach up to $2 million.
The Jacksonville ticket: $118,220 with Fantasy 5
The second winner of the night emerged at the Publix located at 6001-45 Argyle Forest Blvd., Jacksonville, where a player correctly guessed the five numbers from the nightly drawing of Fantasy 5: 5, 9, 21, 22, and 30.
That ticket, also a Quick Pick type, was valued at $118,220.
Fantasy 5 is another exclusive game in Florida with two daily drawings—at noon and in the evening—where participants choose five numbers from one to 36.
How to claim the prizes?
Both tickets must be redeemed at the district offices of the Florida Lottery, not at usual retail outlets.

Both offices operate from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This Monday they will be closed for Labor Day, so the winners will have to wait until Tuesday to begin the process. Appointments are optional.
Florida law stipulates that winners of prizes of $250,000 or more can keep their identity confidential for 90 days after claiming the money, which applies to the winner of the Tampa ticket.
Mega Millions still without a winner: $193 million at stake
The third main draw on Friday, Mega Millions, did not produce a jackpot winner.
The drawn numbers were 6, 26, 34, 59, and 61, with Mega Ball 24, and no ticket matched them all.
The total has grown to $193 million for the upcoming drawing this Tuesday, with a cash payment option of $82.8 million.
More recent lottery prizes in Florida
These awards add to a particularly favorable period for several lottery players in the state.
On July 29, a Mega Millions ticket sold at a Wawa in Bradenton won $803 million —the tenth largest in the history of the game— putting an end to a streak of 38 drawings without a winner.
At the end of August, four Fantasy 5 tickets sold at Publix and Winn-Dixie in Florida won prizes of up to $60,515 each in that day's drawings.
Publix, founded in Florida in 1930, has an extensive network of locations in the state and frequently ranks among the retailers where winning Florida Lottery tickets are sold.
