The Cuban singer Aymée Nuviola confirmed that she will perform on October 11 at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid as part of the official programming for Hispanidad 2026, the cultural festival organized by the Community of Madrid in celebration of Día de la Hispanidad.

The artist made the announcement during an interview with Tania Costa for CiberCuba, where she described the opportunity as "a great privilege" and referred to the stage as "immense." "It's going to be celebrating Hispanic Day. It’s a great privilege for me to be on such a large stage, representing women, Cubans, and Hispanics, those of us with ancestry from the motherland, as they call Spain," she said.

Nuviola made a direct appeal to the Cuban community in Spain and to all those who identify with Hispanic culture: "I hope that the Cubans watching this interview will come together with me. Let's have a great time."

The repertoire for that night is already set. "You're going to love it. It has an incredible variety, a lot of rhythm, a lot of flavor, a lot of joy," the artist shared, describing her concerts as experiences lasting over two hours where the audience ends up singing and dancing without realizing how much time has passed.

"I have a lot of fun when I work; I make jokes with my team, I get them to sing, I get them to dance. And people get wrapped up in that story and don't even realize that sometimes an hour goes by, almost two, even more than two," she explained.

The performance is part of Hispanidad 2026, which will take place from October 2 to 12 in Madrid, featuring over 150 cultural, musical, and sports activities in various venues across the Spanish capital, including Plaza de España, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. The United States is the guest country for this edition.

Among the confirmed artists for the festival are Sebastián Yatra, Marta Sánchez, Arturo Sandoval and Cimafunk, positioning Nuviola on a top-tier international lineup.

The concert comes at a time of special momentum for the artist, who has just released the album «Aymée Nuviola feat. Kemuel Roig Live at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club», recorded at the legendary London club in July 2025, where she likely became the first female solo Cuban artist to record an album with global digital distribution at this historic venue.

Winner of a Grammy in 2020 and several Latin Grammys, Nuviola concluded the interview with an open invitation to all her followers: "I know you're going to love it and that it's going to be a massive gathering. So everyone listening to me, not just Cubans but those who identify with us, with our culture, our music, I’ll see you on October 11th at Puerta del Sol in Madrid, Spain."
