The former Cuban athlete Dayron Robles is trending again on social media thanks to his fitness routines on TikTok, where his toned physique has left thousands of followers speechless.

Last Friday, Robles published a video just one minute long under the motto "just a little minute," designed for anyone to get active from home without special equipment or excuses.

"One minute so there's no excuse for not exercising, here you have the routine to break the ice," wrote the former athlete in the post's description.

The routine, with its intense rhythm and direct language, includes knee lifts, dynamic movements, and glute work, all presented with the energy that characterized Robles during his competitive phase.

"The goal is for you to stay super active because this is just a little moment, just a little moment," you can hear him say in the video.

What has caught the most attention from his followers, however, is not only the quality of the exercises but also the physical condition that the former athlete, now residing in Spain, displays at the age of 40.

The comments came in quickly: "Wow, kid, how you've changed in such a short time," and "So good, dynamic, and you have an excellent physique, congratulations," are some of the messages he has received.

The video accumulated over 18,200 views, 1,114 likes, and 71 shares in just a few days.

Robles, born in Guantánamo in 1986, is one of the great legends of Cuban athletics. In June 2008, he set the world record for the 110 meters hurdles with a time of 12.87 seconds in Ostrava, Czech Republic, surpassing the mark set by the Chinese athlete Liu Xiang, and that same year he became the Olympic champion in Beijing with a time of 12.93 seconds.

After a series of injuries and disagreements with Cuban sports authorities, he requested to leave the team in January 2013 and retired from elite competition.

Since then, he reinvented himself: he lived in El Cotorro, Havana, dedicating himself to agroecological agriculture and hospitality businesses, before settling in Spain.

In July 2026, Robles starred in a viral interview where he revealed that his original motivation for athletics was not to win medals, but to get a pair of shoes, and that he even managed to improvise a pair with the help of a neighbor and a shoemaker.

Currently, in addition to his content on social media, he is affiliated with ChampionLab, a platform for personalized training plans, and this is not his first viral video of the season: at the beginning of September, he had already published a basic mobility routine that also garnered significant attention among his followers.

"See you, and let me know," Robles concluded the video, inviting his community to try the routine and share their results.
