Bebeshito and Wow Popy stood before the microphones on Monday at the press conference leading up to Billboard Latin Music Week 2026 to announce something that just a few years ago seemed unthinkable: the Cuban cast will have its own panel in one of the most important forums of the Latin music industry.
The meeting took place at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, where both artists shared space with figures from the Latin music scene. The presence of the two reparteros did not go unnoticed.
Rachel Arderi shared a story with her husband: "I am so proud of you my love, we achieved the first official Billboard panel together, you and your colleagues are making it happen."
Bebeshito took the floor with the calm of someone who knows the value of what they have in hand. He recalled that in a previous conference he had already asked Billboard to continue investing in the genre: "It's a genre that belongs to Cuba, that is growing, that has a good sound." This time, the result is evident: an exclusive panel dedicated to the cast.
"Today we are being given the opportunity to have a specialized panel on the distribution so that people around the world know more about this music," said the artist, adding that each of his colleagues is "contributing a little bit so that the genre continues to grow."

Wow Popy, for his part, arrived with the history of the genre tattooed in his memory. "I'm one of those artists who comes from the time when music was shared via bluetooth. Nobody trusted this music," he recalled, before thanking Billboard "for this panel, for this opportunity they are giving to our music."
For Bebeshito, this moment is part of an unending streak: in 2025, he already made history at the Billboard Latin Music Week as the first repartero to have official representation at that forum.
Next week, the cast will arrive at the Faena Forum with a distinctive name.
