Galderma, the Swiss company that is a global leader in dermatology, inaugurated its new headquarters for the United States and Latin America at the end of August in the Brickell district of Miami, betting on a city whose aesthetic medicine market continues to grow and that serves as a gateway to the entire Latin American region.

The company, present in nearly 90 countries, chose Miami for its concentration of high-income consumers, medical tourism from Latin America, and a dense network of clinics and specialized centers.

The market for aesthetic medicine centers in South Florida is estimated at $612 million in 2026, with projections to reach $1.93 billion by 2035.

The new headquarters will gradually bring together around 200 employees, concentrating management teams from the U.S. and Latin America under one roof to streamline decision-making and commercial execution in both regions.

The facility, located in the financial heart of Miami, is not just a corporate office. It features a dedicated injection room for the hands-on training of healthcare professionals, educational programs, and a space inspired by the ALASTIN Signature Practice experience.

So far in 2026, Galderma has organized over 1,000 training events for its network of aesthetic injectors in the U.S., with around 5,000 participants.

The company's CEO, Flemming Ørnskov, emphasized the strategic importance of this decision: "The United States is central to Galderma's long-term growth. This investment reflects our confidence in its ongoing expansion and our ambition to make Galderma a powerhouse in dermatology, scientifically, commercially, and operationally."

The opening of the headquarters is part of a broader investment strategy: Galderma has committed over 650 million dollars to U.S. manufacturing by 2030.

In the first half of 2026, the company reported global net sales of $3.134 billion, representing a year-on-year growth of 24.6% at constant exchange rates, after closing 2025 with record sales of $5.207 billion.

Last Monday, just a month after its inauguration in Miami, Galderma began trading on the Swiss Market Index, the index of the 20 leading Swiss stocks, with a market capitalization of between 44.8 billion and 45.8 billion Swiss francs.

In 2023, the Florida Board of Medicine issued an emergency order to halt deaths linked to plastic surgery, and in subsequent years, there were reports of clinic suspensions and arrests for operating post-surgical centers without a license. There have also been suspensions of plastic surgery centers in Miami for lacking the required certifications.

Galderma's portfolio includes brands such as Dysport, Restylane, and Sculptra in injectable aesthetics; Cetaphil and Alastin in dermatological care; and Nemluvio in therapeutic dermatology.

On a global scale, the U.S. aesthetic medicine market is estimated at $49.28 billion, with a projected growth of nearly 13% annually until 2035, making Miami a hard opportunity to ignore for any industry giant.
