How to watch the Nobel Prizes 2026 live

The Nobel organization confirmed that all announcements for 2026 will be broadcast live through its official digital channels.

Coverage will be available on NobelPrize.org, where the identity of the winner or winners, the official motivation for the award, and explanatory material about the recognized work will also be published during each announcement.

It is important to note that for Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Economics, the organization uses the expression “starting from” when indicating the time. This means that communication may occur a few minutes after the stated time.

The winners are announced now, but the prizes will be awarded in December

The announcements in October should not be confused with the Nobel Prize award ceremonies.

The award recipients officially receive their prizes on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death.

The prizes for Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature, and Economic Sciences are awarded in Stockholm, while the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo.

Each award includes a medal, a diploma, and a monetary grant.
