A Cuban man experienced an emotional moment that his partner captured on video and shared on TikTok: his spontaneous reaction upon finding out that he will be a father for the first time.
The user @dayrita_28, known as Dayrita, recorded the moment she surprised her partner with the news of her pregnancy. The man's reaction shifted from disbelief and nerves to excitement and joy.
"I can't believe it. It can't be. I just can't believe it," the future dad repeated upon receiving the news.
However, her first reaction was also marked by nerves. "I'm scared," she confessed, to which Dayrita responded in surprise, "What do you mean, scared?"
Amid exclamations of "Oh my God," the Cuban processed the news until he finally felt excited and happy alongside his partner.
At the end of the video, Dayrita expressed her happiness about sharing this new stage with him: "I am very happy that he is his dad."
In the post's description, the young woman dedicated a few words to her partner: “@Peleador, WE WILL BE THE BEST DADS IN THE WORLD,” accompanied by the hashtags #newdads and #reaction, suggesting that they are expecting their first child.
The video, which lasted a little over three minutes, had accumulated 2,247 "likes" and 288 comments at the time of the data collection for the news report.

Another highly popular video featured a Cuban named Joaquín, whose reaction of jumping and shouting upon discovering a pregnancy test in his partner's shopping cart surpassed 54 million views in January 2025.
On this occasion, the protagonist's reaction once again reflected a mix of surprise, nerves, and happiness upon receiving news that would mark a new phase in the couple's life.
