Two well-known Cuban jewelers from Miami appeared on the social media of Real Betis. The Spanish club surprised its followers by posting a funny video featuring Ariel from Ariel Joyerías and Carlos Marcelin, known as "Mr. CRM," owner of CRM Jewelers.
In the reel posted on Instagram, lasting just eight seconds, the Sevilla team used a well-known meeting between the two businessmen to joke about their relationship with UEFA.
Betis placed its crest over Carlos Marcelin's face and the Champions League logo over Ariel's, transforming a friendly greeting into a scene filled with football humor.
"My brother, how are you? First of all, I'm so sorry," says Ariel as he walks over to Carlos to hug him.
"Are you crazy, man?" Marcelin replies, before his compatriot adds, "A super big gentleman like you."
The club accompanied the images with a phrase that many Cubans will recognize immediately: "A super elegant day lies ahead," one of Ariel's most popular expressions in his videos.
The montage portrays UEFA as the one apologizing and Betis as the one receiving the apology calmly. It's a joke from the club, not an official apology from the European organization.
What is happening between Betis and UEFA?
The publication comes at a sensitive time for the Spanish team, which is facing a disciplinary procedure from UEFA due to incidents that occurred during their 3-2 victory over FC Porto on October 14.
According to the Betis themselves reported, several fans lit flares and smoke bombs, in addition to throwing bottles and other objects from the stands of the La Cartuja stadium.
The club warned that a potential sanction could prevent its followers from attending future away European matches. However, it has not clarified whether the meme directly refers to that case.
In sports, Betis is experiencing an excellent moment: it has accumulated three victories in its first three matches of the 2026-2027 Champions League, defeating Lille, Porto, and Feyenoord. The team led by Manuel Pellegrini returned to the tournament after 21 years of absence.
