This first week of November will be especially intense for many people. We have five planets that are in retrograde in the celestial sphere: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. If we include Chiron, there are six bodies in apparent retrograde. This is how they are observed from Earth, although it does not mean they are reversing their orbits.

Chiron, the "wounded healer" of astrology, is also retrograde in Aries. This minor body began its retrograde on August 3 in Taurus, returned to Aries on September 17, and will go direct on January 6, 2027. Its symbolism relates to wounds of identity, self-esteem, and personal acceptance.
The four signs most affected by these powerful retrogrades will be Aries, Libra, Scorpio, and Gemini.
Arians will likely be the ones most impacted by this energy because their sign encompasses Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron. They will also have their ruler retrograding very soon.
Mars remains direct in Leo for the time being, but it will enter its pre-retrograde shadow on November 5. It will begin to retrograde on January 10, 2027, in Virgo, return to Leo on February 21, and go direct on April 1.
