The United States Department of State, in coordination with the FBI and the DEA, announced cumulative rewards of up to 50 million dollars for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the three main leaders of the Aragua Train, an organization designated as a terrorist group by Washington.

The announcement was published on November 5. The three sought individuals are Yohan José Romero, aka "Yohan Petrica"; Giovanni Vicente Mosquera Serrano, aka "Giovanni"; and Juan Gabriel Rivas Núñez, aka "Juancho". All remain at large.

The highest reward belongs to Romero: up to 20 million dollars, a figure that has quintuplied compared to the four million offered previously.

The State Department identifies him as the co-founder and current leader of the organization, which he allegedly founded alongside "Niño Guerrero" and "Larry Changa" in the Venezuelan prison of Tocorón around 2013.

For Mosquera Serrano, the reward amounts to up to 15 million dollars, tripling the previous five million. The FBI included him in their Ten Most Wanted list in June 2025, making him the first member of the Tren de Aragua to appear on that list.

According to U.S. authorities, this individual oversees the organization's operations in Colombia, Central America, and the United States, and faces additional charges for conspiracy to distribute cocaine internationally.

The reward for Rivas Núñez, also of up to 15 million dollars, is a completely new offer. Authorities identify him as the second-in-command in charge of operations in Venezuela.

The three had already been indicted in 2025. On July 29, 2026, a third superseding indictment, consisting of nine charges, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, which was disclosed this week, including conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

Rewards are processed through the Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program of the Department of State and apply to arrests or convictions in any country.

The announcement comes months after the United States Southern Command carried out an operation in Las Claritas, Venezuela, in which Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, known as "Niño Guerrero," died, having been considered the top leader and founder of the organization. Following his death, Romero remained the main founder of Tren de Aragua still at large.

The Tren de Aragua was designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the State Department in February 2025, alongside MS-13 and six Mexican cartels. The organization originated in Venezuela and expanded to Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, and Europe.

Anyone with information can contact the FBI at +1-281-787-9939, available for text messages, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Authorities ensure complete confidentiality of the identity of those who provide information.

"WANTED: receive up to 50 million dollars in rewards for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the three main leaders of the Tren de Aragua: Yohan Petrica, Giovanni, and Juancho," the State Department posted on its social media while distributing the official posters.
