Divan Sotelo, better known simply by his name Divan, is one of the young promises of the urban genre in Cuba. He was born in Havana on December 3, 1995, and at just 14 years old, he recorded his first track.
In October 2015, he released Tu Perfume, his first CD recorded at the Cuban production studio Célula Music and under the label Plante Records. In the recording, he collaborated with established artists from the national scene such as Jacob Forever, El Micha, El Príncipe, a member of Los Desiguales, and El Chacal.
In 2016, his second album, Nuevo Mundo, was released, in which he collaborated again with Jacob Forever and also recorded with Leoni Torres. In this album, just like in the third one that would come out in 2019, he shares authorship with the important and renowned Cuban pop composer Osmani Espinosa.
The songs "Pelearnos un ratico," "Nadie más," with Jacob Forever (almost 10 million views on YouTube), and "Me equivoqué" with Leoni Torres were well received by their followers.
In 2019, he released his third album Round 2, filled with important collaborations such as:
Pobre Corazón alongside Lenier Mesa, Boomerang with Ky-Mani Marley, Besando Otra Boca with Karen Giselle, A Que Te Saco De Mí with Leoni Torres, Bailando Ahi with El Chulo, Príncipe Azul with El Chacal, among others.
Its track "He Learned It from Me," which has nearly 8 million views on YouTube, is one of the most popular from this album.
