AlthoughVanessa Formell is officially part of the "Salsa Train"", now her brother, Samuel Formell, has spoken openly about the singer's role in the legendary Los Van Van orchestra.
The statements of the current director of the emblematic group were given to the Cuban radio program on the Radio Taíno frequency,At good Time.
Samuel commented on the important role that Vanessa plays as the new voice of the band and reaffirmed her involvement in the work on the new Los Van Van record production. He also added that the orchestra's new album is scheduled to be released next September and will, at least, contain three songs with Vanessa's solo voice.
Regarding the CD to celebrate the 50 years of the orchestra, Samuel explained that they are bringing together several artists to release a tribute material and that he expects it to be released next year 2018.
