“I miss you”, the emotional song that Vanessa Formell dedicates to her father

The Cuban singer Vanesa Formell, daughter of the legendary musician Juan Formell and current female voice of the Los Van Van orchestra, moved her followers this week by performing an exclusive version of the song “I miss you”, composed by his father.

“Wherever you are, dad… this is for you,” the artist wrote on her Instagram account, where she published a fragment of the video that was later released by the orchestra on its YouTube channel.

Uploaded just a few hours ago, the clip filmed for this acoustic version of “I miss you”, included in the album Legado, already has more than 1,350 views on that platform.

For the recording of the song, Vanessa had the musical accompaniment of the talented pianist Boris Luna, a member of the prestigious orchestra.

Since the beginning of the month, the album LegadoIt was released to all digital music platforms.The phonogram includes fourteen songs, all in tribute to the now deceased founder of the band, of whichVanessa joined last year, replacing Yenny Valdés.
