Mexico Beach, a community of just 1,000 inhabitants, shows Scenes of absolute devastation after Hurricane Michael, already converted into tropical storm, but which has left at least two dead as it passes through Florida.
Michael's eye touched land near Mexico Beach, a city located about 30 kilometers southeast of Panama City, as a Category 4 hurricane.
In several images released by the press and on social networks, the panorama is bleak. The houses seem to float in the middle of flooded streets, some completely destroyed after having lost their roofs.
According to authorities, it was the most powerful storm to hit Florida in more than a decade.
