Creole recipe for preparing white rice in a different way and serving it as a side dish for meats.
Ingredients
2 cups of rice 2 ¼ cups of water 1 garlic clove or ¼ teaspoon of garlic salt 2 teaspoons of oil 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Instructions
To prepare this delicious creole white rice, start by heating all the ingredients in the pressure cooker, except for the rice. Once the water is boiling vigorously, add two cups of high-quality white rice, ideal for Cuban recipes like this one.
Stir gently to combine, then cover the pot. Once it reaches 15 pounds of pressure, reduce the heat and start timing.
When 8 minutes have passed, cool the pot under running water to quickly reduce the pressure. As soon as the pressure drops, remove the indicator and carefully uncover the pot.
Stir the rice with a fork to separate the grains and remove it from the pot. You will obtain loose, aromatic rice ready to accompany any Creole dish.
