- 1 cup of cooked white rice, preferably long-grain rice.
- ½ onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 stalk of scallion (spring onion)
- 1 carrot
- ½ yellow pepper
- 2 chili peppers
- 30 grams of fresh ginger
- 200 grams of turkey breast
- 150 grams of sweet ham
- 50 grams of serrano ham
- 100 grams of finely chopped celery
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
Wash and cut all the vegetables into fine julienne or dice. Also dice the ham and turkey. Season the turkey breast cubes with salt and pepper and set them aside.
Put the wok on high heat. Add the oil and when it is hot, add the finely chopped garlic and ginger. Sauté it and incorporate the diced turkey breast, stirring to combine well and allow the meat to absorb the flavors.
Three minutes later, when the turkey meat begins to turn white, add the sweet ham, the serrano ham, the carrot, the bell pepper, the chili, and the celery. Stir and sauté the ingredients in the wok again. Three minutes later, add the onion cut into fine julienne slices.
Without stopping to stir so the heat is distributed evenly, start incorporating the cooked white rice. Mix well. Add the soy sauce and continue sautéing the ingredients in the wok. Once well integrated, check the salt level. Soy sauce tends to be very salty, so we recommend not adding salt to the dish up to this point.
To finish, incorporate the finely chopped chives, mix, and let the rice rest for a couple of minutes. Sauté it one last time and serve it freshly made.
You can accompany it with soy sauce so that each diner can add it to their liking.
Enjoy your meal!!
