The chorizo and cheese bite is a quick and easy recipe to make at home. It's perfect for a snack or a hearty breakfast. It contains ingredients that are rich in fats and carbohydrates, which is why it is recommended to consume it in the mornings or afternoons to fully benefit from the energy it provides.
Ingredients:
- 2 large freshly made toasts
- 4 thin slices of chorizo
- 4 slices of cheese
- 1 tomato for spreading
- 1 teaspoon of aioli or garlic paste
- Salt and oregano to taste
Instructions:
Wash the tomato and cut it in half. Rub it on one of the toast slices. Add salt to taste and a pinch of oregano.
Spread the other toast with alioli or garlic paste. If you choose the latter, be careful not to use too much, as it can make the flavor too strong.
Place layers of cheese and chorizo alternately on the toast with tomato.
Wrap the toast with aioli and make a crosswise cut to present the dish.
We suggest pairing it with a glass of orange juice or a nice, cold lemonade.
