Chicharrones are consumed in Cuba at any time. But if you go to a New Year's Eve party, there will surely be chicharrones. If you have a few beers at home, nothing better than some chicharrones. And if you run out of oil, don't run out of fat, start frying pork rinds so you can take advantage of the butter.

Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of pork fat
- salt to your liking
- water
Instructions:
Cut the pork fat into squares, put it in a pot, add salt to taste and cover with water.
Boil over low heat until the water is consumed. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. With the fat that is released, fry the pork rinds until they are crispy.
Reserve the butter for other recipes.
