- 2 kg of pork ribs
- 2 tablespoons of cumin
- 1 tablespoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of oregano
- 2 tablespoons of dried parsley
- Olive oil
- ½ cup of broth or water
Place the meat in a deep, wide container. Gradually add all the herbs and spices mentioned in the recipe. Drizzle in some olive oil and mix, kneading the meat generously so that it absorbs these delightful flavors.
In a large skillet, gently heat a little oil. Before it reaches a high temperature, add all the ribs and let them cook for about 5 minutes.
After this time, turn them over and let them cook for another five minutes. Remove them and arrange them on the baking tray. Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C).
Take advantage of the remaining fond in the pan by adding half a cup of water or broth. Add the resulting liquid to the meat you set aside in the tray. Cover everything with aluminum foil and bake for 1½ hours at 325°F (170°C).
Cooking time may vary depending on the amounts you use for your recipe and the specific characteristics of each oven. Keep this in mind.
These delicious ribs can be served with a healthy salad as suggested by our chef. You can also choose from other side dishes among our recipes at CiberCuba Cocina.
