Ingredients:
2 lbs of onions 1 stick of butter 4 cups of broth 2 tsp. of salt 1 cup of grated cheese 2 tbsp. of chopped chives
Instructions:
Slice the onion into half-moons and sauté them with butter. Blend two-thirds of them with a little of the broth when they are translucent. Add to the thick broth and keep on the heat until it boils. Add salt to the remaining onions and combine with the broth. Cook until it thickens. Sprinkle grated cheese in the bottom of the bowls before serving. Pour in the hot cream. Add chopped chives.
