Note:
El Fanguito is a sweet treat that drives most Cubans crazy. It is made from condensed milk and is eaten with sweet or salty cookies, bread, ice cream, panetelas... In fact, it's even eaten with fingers. In other countries, it is known as "Dulce de Leche." It is very easy to make. Here we leave you the recipe, which has no degree of difficulty at all. You just need a little bit of time.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 liters of water
Instructions:

To make the Fanguito, first wash the can of condensed milk and remove the label if it has a paper one.

Place the unopened can of milk in the pressure cooker and cover it with water. Close the pot and put it on high heat until it reaches pressure.

Lower the heat to medium and let it cook under pressure for 30 minutes. After this time, remove the pot from the heat.

This recipe can be made using a double boiler in a conventional pot, but you should let it cook for about an hour.

Once the pot loses pressure, take out the can of milk. It will be hot, as one can imagine. I suggest placing it in cool water and waiting for the temperature to drop.
