- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 onion
- ¼ teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Wash the potatoes and if you wish, peel them, although they can also be consumed with their peel, especially thin-skinned varieties. Cut them into slices of approximately 2 cm.
Place them on the baking tray previously greased with olive oil or on baking paper. In the second case, spread the potatoes with a little oil on top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano to your taste. Add the onion cut into rounds and place in the oven.
They should be cooked for approximately 25 minutes, at a temperature of 200ºC. The time may vary depending on the thickness to which the potato is cut and the characteristics of each oven. When they turn golden brown, prick them with a fork and check that they are ready.
Serve them hot, you can add an extra splash of olive oil when presenting this garnish. I hope you enjoy it.
