Note:
Mustard Roasted Chicken is an easy and quick recipe to prepare. It can be made in the oven or in a pressure cooker. Mustard is a sauce made from small seeds of the same name. Its cultivation is quite ancient, and it is believed to originate from the area of Afghanistan. This sauce pairs perfectly with poultry, which might explain how delicious these mustard-roasted chicken legs turn out. I hope you enjoy the recipe, and if you make it, don’t forget to share a photo on our social media!
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons of mustard sauce
- 6 cloves of garlic
- Oil
Instructions:
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then coat them in mustard sauce.
Place them on the baking tray. Add the whole garlic cloves to roast them as well, and drizzle a little oil over the pieces of chicken.
Bake in the oven at 200ºC for 40 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on the characteristics of each oven. To check if the chicken is ready, simply poke it; if no juices run out, it means it's done.
Serve it freshly made. Garnish it with roasted garlic, and if you wish, you can prepare a vinaigrette.
In my case, I just added a splash of olive oil to finish it off. It's a simple dish with few ingredients, but it has a rich flavor.
I hope you enjoy it. Bon appétit!
