Seven days after his promoted and anticipated fight against the Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux agreed to talk with Bobby Salamanca Jr., assuming the same role of "accused" asdays before the great José Ariel Contreras took office.
Rigondeaux, with the joviality and confidence that characterizes him, said he was ready to win, and demonstrate that pound for pound, that he is not second to anyone.
Despite this, many people believe that Rigondeaux is likely to lose to the powerful Ukrainian, since he had to go up two divisions to fight "Loma", and because the European is much younger.
Similar criteria were said hours before "El Chacal" got into a ring to face the Filipino Nonito Donaire, and nevertheless the Santiago native demonstrated his talent.
