Ingredients:
  • 2 red-shouldered hawks
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large potatoes
  • olive oil
Instructions:

Clean the fish, make two small crosswise cuts on each side so that the seasonings penetrate better into the flesh. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Rub them with crushed garlic and drizzle lemon juice over them. Let it rest for half an hour and preheat the oven to 170 ÂşC.

Peel and slice the potatoes. Grease the baking tray with olive oil. Place the potato slices and the julienned onion. Sprinkle with salt to taste. On this bed, place the fish. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remember that each oven has its own characteristics, and it is important to monitor the cooking times, or your fish will turn out dry. Every time you check the cooking point of the fish, baste it with the juice that comes off. This will give it a more intense flavor and juicy meat.
