Tuna, cream cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon / CiberCuba Kitchen

This is one of the quickest snack pasta recipes to make. We consumed it often in Cuba during the 80s. Nowadays, a can of tuna is prohibitively expensive, but you might be able to substitute it with another type of shredded fish.

Mixed ingredients / CiberCuba Kitchen

To prepare it, start by thoroughly mashing the garlic; you can also use a teaspoon of garlic paste or aioli. Then, mix all the ingredients together in a deep bowl. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice, and if you prefer, you can also include a few drops of hot sauce.

Season to taste, and it’s ready! You can spread it on toast, crackers, or even use it to accompany crunchy vegetables like carrot sticks.

Enjoy it!!
