Note:
Eggs are a food that provides important proteins to our diet. Cubans know how to value them very well because on more than one occasion they have saved us from hunger. This time we present a very simple recipe, but rich and satisfying. It includes ingredients that are not impossible to find on the Island. I hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of bĂ©chamel sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 100 grams of grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions:

In a pot, boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Avoid overcooking them so they have an appealing texture and color. Peel the eggs and set them aside.

Choose small pots suitable for 1 individual serving for this preparation. If you don't have them, select a deep tray so that the eggs can be covered with the sauces.

Place 2 tablespoons of your preferred tomato sauce in the chosen dish to present this recipe. Add 2 halved eggs and cover them with bechamel sauce.

On the béchamel, add the grated cheese. If the sauce is hot enough, the cheese will melt easily. Add a touch of ground pepper for decoration or some dried parsley.

If it has cooled down, I suggest you put it in the microwave or an oven for two minutes. It is a dish that should be eaten hot.
