The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) temporarily suspended the services of the Transfermóvil payment platform.
As reported by the company in a statement to its users, Transfermóvil will undergo maintenance work on the service in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 16, which will make its operation impossible.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," says ETECSA.
Last week ETECSA recognized that its Transfermóvil servicewas “confronting technical problems with intermittency in its operation.”
The application is intended to facilitate payments for services, online purchases, inquiries, banking procedures and the management of telecommunications services.
It also includes the national money transfer service of Correos de Cuba and its own card reloading, card reprinting (BANDEC), digital PIN request and improvements in cash transfer.
