Ahomeless Cuban familyprotested in a manner peaceful this Wednesday in front of the PCC of Morón, in the province of Ciego de Ávila, fordemand attention to your case. They received the support of the local population, gathering a large crowd of citizens.

TheMora family demands the right to decent housing. In the images you can see a couple with their young children, something that quickly aroused the sensitivity of the population when they learned about their case.

"The people are getting tired and the regime is in a state of panic. This is the beginning of the end...", one of the participants in the peaceful protest in front of the municipal headquarters of the Communist Party posted on the social network Facebook.

In the demonstration, no slogans were shouted against the Cuban political leaders, but those present assure that they were not necessary because they heard the applause of the people and the voices of support for the brave attitude of the family.

The residents of Morón positioned themselves alongside those affected to help them demand their rights and for their case to be heard by the authorities of the region who for years have ignored their requests through established and "politically correct" channels.

The Mora protest began on Tarafa Avenue, in the Morón municipality, at 5 in the afternoon on August 5. This family's home was affected during a hurricane that hit Ciego de Ávila more than 2 years ago and they were forced to move to a building at risk of collapse.

They moved to the Hotel Perla, a building in danger of collapsing where they live with other families.

The Mora couple has a 6-month-old baby who recently underwent surgery for intestinal problems, according to Osiel Morales Díaz, Coordinator of the Morón Despierta Political Movement and the UNPACU in Morón.

The unhygienic conditions in which the Mora family lives endangers the lives of their children, particularly that of their baby.

This is a family with no ties to opposition organizations in Cuba. They planted their few belongings in the street, and sat there with their children, in a peaceful, but desperate act, to make their difficult situation visible.

The provincial police tried to break up the demonstration, but they were unsuccessful. The family was taken in front of regime authorities in Morón, who promised a housing solution today.

The Moras, for their part, assured that if they do not have a home they will once again stand with their children on the street, to demand what is an elementary right, a human right, access to decent housing.
