To the Cuban opposition, Diasniurka Salcedo, who works self-employed as a hairdresser, was imposed a fine of 2,000 pesos during an inspection considering that he was carrying out the activity “illegally”.

“It's a secret to no one, I am self-employed, a hairdresser, I have everything in order, I have been practicing since 2015. Since there are huge queues, my husband is in charge of paying for my patent. Today I received the inspectors, and My husband had the last receipt, but I showed the rest of them", explained the opponent on Facebook.

“It was of no use, the inspector considered me illegal and fined me 2,000 pesos. How long will the abuse last? until when and to where? “Death to Communism!!!” he added in a publication that was accompanied by a video that records the moment of the incident.

In the images you can see four inspectors who limited themselves to talking among themselves and taking notes and who did not want to give their names.

“The fine is 2,000 pesos for illegal”, concluded one of them at the insistence of Salcedo.

“2,000 pesos because I don't have the documentation here because my husband has it on him. Let's clarify, let's put things by their name," replied the opponent, who lives in Alquízar, in Artemisa, and who usually helps needy families in her community.

During the discussion, Salcedo alluded to the threat made by one of the inspectors to call the police.

Like other opponents, Diasniurka Salcedo has a long history of harassment by State Security, which includes surveillance and arrests.

At the end of December, the opposition member gave valuable material aid to a Cuban family that lives in terrible conditions on the island. In addition to material items, the opposition member gave the family money from her work as a hairdresser, so that they could buy food, as reported.

As can be seen in the images, the family lives in a house with a cement floor, improvised walls and ceilings, and they slept in beds in very poor condition.

On another occasion, Diasniurka Salcedo Verdecia helped a Cuban couple with their sick young son from the heart in Alquízar. This family, who lived in inhumane conditions, was given a new home, fully furnished, with new appliances and freshly painted.

The Cuban opposition member has been harassed several times by the island's police for this type of humanitarian work. In September 2020 was violently detained when he was preparing to deliver some medicine to people who live in extreme poverty with a child with a heart condition.
