The Cuban singerYeny Valdes, who was the main female voice of the famous Formell and Los Van Van orchestra, has received the second dose of theCOVID-19 vaccine.
The artist, who resides in the city of California (United States) with her husband,Cuban musician Erick Barbería, accompanied by her partner, went to a health center in the city where they both received the second dose of the medication.
The former vanvanera recorded on social networks the moment in which she was vaccinated through several photographs that she shared on her Facebook profile. Along with the images, Yeny Valdés left a nice message in which he expressed his desire for the pandemic to end soon:
"Second dose. I ask my Orishas that all of you be vaccinated soon and free the planet from this garbage," the singer expressed in the post.
With his action, Yeny Valdés joins the list of Cuban artists who have joined the coronavirus vaccination campaign in the United States.
One of the first to report thathad received the vaccine was the Cuban musician and product Emilio Estefan, who took advantage of the occasion to launch a social awareness message about the importance of receiving the vaccine and invited all his followers to receive it in order to contribute to the eradication of COVID-19.
Then we were able to witness on social networks that the actress Susana Pérez had also been vaccinated, afterproudly display the card on your Instagram profile which proved that he had received the dose.
And one of the last to join was the presenter Carlos Otero. The Miami television moderator published a photograph of thetime of vaccination and days later he told his followers aboutthe side effects he had experienced on his body from the medication, in its case, that of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.
