Cuba continues to consolidate itspresence in international beauty pageants. On this occasion it will beJeniffer Lopez Palaces the one in charge of representing the island in theInternational Coffee Reign 2023.
The female beauty pageant is held every year in the municipality of Manizales, Colombia, within the framework of theManizales Fair, considered the largest in America.
Through its official Instagram account, the Reinado del Café announced that the young Cuban model will be one of the contestants in the 51st edition of the event scheduled for next January.
In interview forCyberCuba, Jeniffer told how she came to this contest and some details about her career and future projects.
Since she was little, she watched beauty pageants because they attracted a lot of attention and she dreamed of one day being in one of them: “I remember telling my mother that I wanted to participate, I was always excited to be able to represent Cuba in some beauty pageant.” .
“I studied theater as a professional career at the José María Heredia School of Arts in Santiago de Cuba, but I had to pause my studies for a while because I was in the migratory process to move to Europe,” said Jeniffer, who managed to train in that eastern province as a professional model, in addition to working in theUnique Pose Artistic Company.
Although he received several offers to participate in competitions of this type in countries such as the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Peru and Italy, the fact of living in Cuba and the complexity of the procedures to obtain visas prevented him from competing.
Currently, the young woman is completing the procedures to enter the Arturo Bernal International Theater School in Madrid, but another opportunity has come to fulfill one of her dreams.
“To participate in the International Coffee Queen in Manizales, Colombia, I auditioned with Miss Cuba Organization and was selected for the contest, so I am very grateful to all of them for giving me the opportunity,” said the model.
Participation in this beauty pageant will be a great moment in her career, especially for being the image of her land internationally: “For me it is an honor to represent Cuba in this pageant, it is an opportunity to highlight my country, the beauty and intelligence of the Cuban woman; show the world what we are and who we are and for that I will put all my effort and dedication.”
Regarding her future projects, Jeniffer added: “My short-term goals are to win the title in the Reinado del Café and share that victory with my country that supports me so much. In the long term, continue my acting studies, develop in European cinema and continue my modeling career.”
For Jeniffer López Palacios, participation in this contest is an opportunity to open new doors, learn new things, increase her experience and continue growing personally and professionally.
Recently, it was announced that another young Cuban woman,Judith Ramos Valdés, will represent the island in the first edition of the Queen of the World beauty pageant, to be held in Venezuela next October.
