Eduardo López Cardoso, the young man who plays La Flaca Verónica in the humorous videos of Cuban influencer Miguel David Estévez (Las Locuras de Miguelín), arrived in the United States this Saturday.

"Thank you, God, for allowing this reunion... I told you, buddy, before I left... and now, MIAMIIIIIII," Estévez expressed on his social media as he welcomed his colleague and collaborator in their comedy sketches.

A video shared on the Facebook account Locuras de Miguelín captures the moment when Estévez and López Cardoso share an emotional hug upon their arrival at Miami Airport.

Despite the intensity of the emotions, 23-year-old Eduardo didn't miss the chance to crack one of his jokes at Estévez's expense (28 years old), picking up on their humorous back-and-forth from Las Locuras de Miguelín.

In an interview published in June by YouTube user Clau_ferzzzz, the young man from Camagüey explained the origin of his character and his friendship with Estévez.

A car accident involving Eduardo—where he suffered a broken hip and tibia—strengthened his friendship with the influencer, with whom he had already begun recording some videos, although the show Las Locuras de Miguelín and the character La Flaca Verónica had not yet been created. From that point on, their friendship and collaborations flourished.

According to the young man, he always took advantage of any opportunity to dress as a woman, apply makeup, and wear high heels. When the suggestion came up to portray a woman in Estévez's space, he didn’t find it to be a difficult challenge.

Although he acknowledged that, at first, his father disapproved of his hobbies and predicted that he would become homosexual, he always remained confident in his sexual identity and was never uncomfortable with his identity or the opinions of others.

Eduardo never imagined the audience success that Las Locuras de Miguelín and its character would achieve. In the interview recorded in June, he mentioned that he hoped to continue growing as a team alongside his colleagues and that in two or three years, they could perform on television, “either here in this country or in another.”

"My dream is for more people to know me," said the young man, to whom the journalist insisted that "it’s not necessary to go to another country to pursue your dream."

To the young people who want to follow in his footsteps, Eduardo encouraged them to pursue their dreams. “With your phone and your imagination, you can go very far,” he assured.

"We dreamed of performing live, but Migue left," Eduardo confessed in the interview. Three months later, without gaining a single pound, "La Flaca Verónica" landed in Miami and reunited with Miguelín, marking what could be a new chapter in the creativity of both young comedians.

Miguel David Estévez, for his part, arrived in Miami in early June after a journey he started in Nicaragua. “First, thank God for giving me strength and not leaving me alone... a new life,” the young man expressed on his social media, alongside an emotional video showing the warm welcome he received at Miami Airport from his mother, friends, and his girlfriend Laura Almanza.

That month, the Cuban influencer and comedian José Ernesto González Carnota arrived in the United States, famous for the poem that went viral among Cubans, "Nos vamos pa' Nicaragua."
