The president of the Placetas government, Eduardo Rodríguez Cabrera, committed to the González-Duquezne family to supply the necessary wood and undertake the repair of their deteriorated home, he informedCyberCuba Daniel González, head of the family unit.
"The (municipal) government gave us a brigade to make our house completely new out of wood, with its plateau and everything," González said; less anguished after knowing that his wife and three children, ages 15, 8 and 3, would not be left out in the open.
The decision of the president of Placeta, communicated this Monday in a meeting with those affected, paralyzes the eviction ordered by the local Public Health director, Segundo Bravo, who tried to remove thepolice force to the González-Duquezne family, on Saturday, of the MINSAP premises that they had occupied and which is also deteriorated, after having served as an Isolation Center during the coronavirus pandemic.
