On her Instagram profile, Lili shared behind-the-scenes images as well as the moment when the young woman walked down the runway.
"I can hardly contain my excitement. Her first time at New York Fashion Week, closing for the Dominican designer Giannina Azar. What a life, that was one of my dreams and look who achieved it," wrote Lili Estefan alongside a video of the moment they were getting Lina ready to model.
The presenter also shared on social media the report that her colleagues from the program "El Gordo y La Flaca" prepared about her daughter's debut at this important fashion event.
In her statements, Lina assured that she was not nervous but excited, and said that her mother had always taught her that the most important thing is to enjoy these moments.
