A Cuban employee of the companyFedEx in the US he gave a lesson to the young delivery manAmazon, also of Cuban origin, who refused to carry a 40-pound package to a third floor, claiming that it was too heavy and too hot.
"When the client pays for a service, the service has to be completed by the driver or whoever. You can't be afraid of work", explained Duniesky Aguiar while he hoisted two boxes weighing about 35 pounds on his shoulders and carried them up stairs to a third floor.
"This is how it works in the United States, daddy, when the client pays you have to do the service as it is," he said, "one on one shoulder and you grab the other as best you can and climb it," he added.
While carrying out his delivery, Aguiar found support from a neighbor who agreed with him and insisted that in the United States you have to work.
"When there is youth there are no problems [...] third floor, this is not a story, just a staircase up and down," Aguiar concluded after giving a lesson to his colleague from the delivery workers' union.
In the video that generated the controversy -shared on profileTikTok from user @elyabo- a young delivery driver was seen in front of a three-story building while leaving what appeared to be a baby stroller in front of the stairs.
"If they feel like it, they come and look for it down here," he could be heard saying in front of the camera while he complained about the heat and the weight of the package.
The comments were immediate and some users reminded the Cuban that this was his job and he could be fired if he continued with that attitude.
