A Cuban sent a message over the Internet to the Russian government, in which he shows hiswillingness to go fight in the war against Ukraine.
The video was shared by the journalistMario Vallejo, who classified the offer as outrageous and condemnable.
"Not even the most extreme desperation would make a good human being associate with criminals to enter their neighbors' homes to kill and massacre families!" stated the reporter.
In the Cuban's video, recorded in the porch of his house, the man assures that he likes war and that if Russia pays for his trip, he couldgo there no later than next month.
"I want to go to your country to fight because II was a soldier and I like war, I like to fight, I like to fight. ANDWith the money they are going to pay us, whether they kill us or not, help my family, because they know the situation in this country," he said.
The man asked the Russian recruiters to call him and explain the procedures he must do, that he has his passport butThey would have to pay him the ticket, because he doesn't have money some.
"It would be a pride for me to fight with you. You have a contract in our country for 30 years, due to the debt that this State has with you. We are brothers, Cubans and Russians. Here I am waiting, to see if you give me a result and I can be there next month.I wait for you, the faster the better"he stressed.
On Thursday, the identity of a senior man emerged on the InternetRussian officer in charge of recruiting Cubans for the invasion of Ukraine, and that he already had in his possession 122 scanned passports of recruited Cubans.
The information shows how Russia operates its channel of Cuban mercenaries in the conflict, who are promised a one-time cash payment of 195,000 rubles (about $2,000) if they enlist in the "special military operation" zone in Ukraine, in addition of a monthly payment that varies depending on rank, as well as spousal and family benefits.
Likewise, the youtuber Alain Paparazzi Cubano has shown images that reveal theexistence of Cuban mercenaries in the Russian army to participate in the war in Ukraine. The photos, he claims, were taken at military bases where Cubans prepare for armed combat.
This week, the mercenaries sent a video directly to the influencer and threatened him for having said that there were Cubans dying in the conflict.
"Those of us who are dead, those of us who are missing, greet you," said one of the Cubans to Alain, from a Russian military base.
"Here everyone is alive", they insisted on a relaxed campaign atmosphere, while listening to music and playing dominoes.
The Cuban regime denies its direct participation in the war conflict. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared thatThey are not sending young people to the war in Ukraine, but admitted that the Ministry of the Interior is working to dismantle a human trafficking network for military recruitment purposes.
Last week, statements came to light from two Cuban teenagers who claim to have beenscammed when signing a contract to travel to Russia to work in war recovery efforts, but were sent to the battlefield.
