With the end of the regular season just around the corner, the official MLB site took on the task of choosing 30 players (one per team) who have taken a step forward in 2023, the same if they are prospects launching warnings about the future of players who are coming back from injury or poor performance campaigns. Well, the Cuban Luis Robert He was drafted into the Chicago White Sox.

About the outfielder born in Guantánamo, the site wrote that "he was already a good player at the beginning of this season" but he became a "very good player".

In justifying their decision, the experts considered that "The 26-year-old has elevated his game to superstar level", and they pointed out that he is "the only player in the history of the franchise and the only player in the Major Leagues this year" who has been able to score more than 35 doubles, more than 35 home runs, more than 70 runs batted in, more than 80 runs scored and more than 15 stolen bases.

Before closing, MLB noted that although the team's new general manager, Chris Getz, has stated that no player is untouchable on the roster, it is reasonable to think that Robert is the five-tool talent around which you can build a winning squad.

It is worth noting that the team also includes a player born in the United States but of Cuban blood, Triston Casas, who plays for Boston and is strong candidate for the Rookie of the Year award of the American League.

In his first 174 post-All-Star at-bats, MLB.com argues, the guy has gotten one .322/.419/.632 offensive line with 15 home runs and 37 RBIs.
