Luis Robert Moirán is a Cuban professional baseball player who plays as an Outfielder for the Chicago White Sox. He bats and throws right-handed, stands 188 cm tall, and weighs 95 kg. He was born on August 3, 1997, in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba.

In 2019, he became the sensation of the Minor Leagues after a historic breakout at the Triple-A level with the Charlotte Knights. Tom Haberstroh, an NBA journalist based in Charlotte, tweeted that the Cuban was the biggest emerging star in the city of Charlotte since Kemba Walker. A leading candidate for Rookie of the Year in the 2020 Major League campaign, his five tools dazzled in the National Series and led him to wear the Cuba team jersey before turning 20 years old.

Very shortly after, in November 2016, he emigrated to the United States and was quickly acquired by the White Sox, who watched him grow until he achieved the 30/30 in 2019 in the Minor Leagues. This ultimately propelled him to the highest level, where he made his debut this season after signing a six-year, 50 million dollar contract.

Once the first nine scheduled games were resolved, his candidacy had gained traction thanks to an OPS of .979, complemented by five extra-base hits and six RBIs.
