Luis Robert Moírán is a Cuban professional baseball player who works as an outfielder for the Chicago White Sox, he bats and throws right-handed, 188 cm, 95 kg. He was born on August 3, 1997 in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba

In 2019 he became a Minor League sensation, after a historic emergence at the Triple-A level with the Charlotte Knights. Tom Haberstroh, an NBA journalist based in Charlotte, posted on his Twitter account that the Cuban was the biggest emerging star in the city of Charlotte since Kemba Walker. Main contender for Rookie of the Year in the 2020 Major League campaign, his five tools dazzled in the National Series and led him to put on the Cuba team jersey at less than 20 years old.

Very shortly after, in November 2016, he emigrated to the United States and was quickly acquired by the White Sox, who saw him grow until he reached 30/30 in 2019 in the Minor Leagues. This ended up catapulting him to the highest level, where he debuted this season after signing a six-year, $50 million contract.

Once the first nine games of the calendar had been settled, his candidacy had won entirely thanks to an OPS of .979, seasoned by five extra-base hits and six RBIs.
