A traffic accident that occurred this Monday between a car and a motorbike inBayamo, in the Granma province, seriously injured two women who were traveling in the light vehicle, according to a report on social networks.
Alejandro Barcaz Vázquez, the Internet user who reported the incident in the Bus & Truck Accidents Facebook group, stated thatThe driver of the car was “drunk” and invaded the opposite lane.
The tragic accident occurred in front of the CIMEX store “Las Novedades”, in the Jesús Menéndez neighborhood.
The source specified that The two women who were injured are nurses by profession.
“Be careful, drivers, alcohol and driving don't mix”concluded Barcaz Vázquez, who did not offer other details about the clinical condition of the wounds.
Images shared in the aforementioned group showed that the motorbike was shattered and that some belongings of the injured woman were scattered next to one of the front wheels of the car, which suffered some damage.
In the comments section of the publication, numerous Internet users attacked the driver of the vehicle, for whom they demanded the full weight of the law for his alleged recklessness.
“Let them take away his driver's license for life, plus 20 years sweeping streets”; "Putting him in prison for 120 years is what it takes"; "They take away his license and give him 30 years, all drivers know that alcohol and driving don't connect"; "At least 5 to 10 years with suspension of his license and some other sanctions such as repairing the motorbike," were some of the comments.
Until the closing of this note, no other details have been revealed about the road accident, which is added to others of its type that have occurred in recent days.
